How to choose the right cable length for a pendant light?
To choose the right length for your electric cable, start by determining where your light will hang (ceiling, above a table, in a bedroom, etc.). In general, we recommend:
Above a table: leave 75 to 100 cm between the table and the bulb.
In a living area: make sure the light stops about 2 meters above the floor.
In a hallway or entrance: ensure the light leaves at least 2 meters of clearance to avoid bumping into it.
Also remember to add 10 to 15 cm extra for the connection in the ceiling rose and any adjustments. If you're unsure, it's better to order a bit more length: a cable that’s too long can be shortened or coiled, while a cable that’s too short can't be used!
