What is a vase cover?

MUSKHANE vase covers have been designed to give a new dimension to your floral creations. Designed to dissimulate the recipient of your bouquet and to enhance it, it adds a warm touch to your decoration. Bringing a soft contrast between felt, a soft natural material with a generous density, and the vegetal, our boiled wool vase covers can be mixed endlessly to create a felted atmosphere in any room of the house.

To magnify a bouquet of fresh flowers, place your cloche vase cover directly above your vase, filled with water. It can also be used for a dried flower arrangement without a container.

Wool felt vase covers, made by Nepalese craftsmen

Like all MUSKHANE objects, our felt vases are the result of the work of Nepalese craftsmen. Handmade in our Kathmandu workshops from felted sheep's wool, they are the reflection of a secular and local know-how. A handcrafted and ethical production that makes each MUSKHANE object unique and meaningful.

To obtain MUSKHANE wool felt, the strands of sheep's wool are first combed and then pressed together with soapy water so that the fibres interlace. The result is the felted wool typical of MUSKHANE creations, generous and dense, with a comforting softness. Natural, anti-allergic and preventing the proliferation of dust mites, it is healthy for all members of the household.

On a windowsill or mantelpiece, on a sideboard in the hallway or a bedside table in the bedroom, a handmade vase cover gives your decor a delicate extra soul. Handmade by our Nepalese craftswomen, they turn your plant compositions into real works of art.

Our woolen vase covers come in several sizes and colours to suit all tastes and allow you to create without limits. Individually, they can be mixed and matched to give volume to your floral creations and bring in colour. Available in a set of 3 miniature vase covers, they are small enough to decorate a shelf or a desk.
