Give your home a new dimension thanks to our new felt and nettle fibre panel ALOO NOREN, inspired by the Japanese "noren", a split fabric curtain that's traditionally placed at the entrance to homes, shops and restaurants.

At MUSKHANE, it's handcrafted from Nuno felt, a soft, lightweight and naturally insulating material, blending sheep's wool with cotton gauze. Along the upper section, a band made from Himalayan nettle fibre, called aloo, adds contrast and character. Woven in Nepal, this sturdy textile creates a subtle interplay of textures, both authentic and refined.

Slip it into a doorway to gently structure your spaces, delicately filtering the light and keeping out draughts.

Nuno felt is a textile created by felting two thin layers of wool around a cotton gauze fabric. It is a soft, lightweight and insulating material.

Sheep’s wool felt is a natural, noble, and renewable material. Naturally insulating, it absorbs sound and insulates against both cold and heat.

Nettle fiber (Aloo or Allo) is a natural, rare, and resistant fiber harvested in the Himalayas.

Our NOREN panel is designed to be hung using a wooden or bamboo rod, which slides easily into the sleeve located at the top.

Care instructions

Spot-clean with damp sponge and soap, or with a textile stain remover. Hand wash using soap and scrubbing action. Squeeze out excess water without twisting, and dry flat. Do not machine wash. See the care instructions page for more information.
