What if you could divide your spaces, large and small, with the lightest touch? Give your home a new dimension thanks to our new felt and nettle fibre panel ALLOO NOREN, inspired by the Japanese "noren", a split fabric curtain that's traditionally placed at the entrance to homes, shops and restaurants.
At MUSKHANE, it's handcrafted from Nuno felt, a soft, lightweight and naturally insulating material, blending sheep's wool with cotton gauze. Along the upper section, a band made from Himalayan nettle fibre, called alloo, adds contrast and character. Woven in Nepal, this sturdy textile creates a subtle interplay of textures, both authentic and refined.
The +: It's an object as practical as it is beautiful, an invitation to bring Japanese harmony into the home!
Fair trade product - Japanese noren panel made of felt and nettle fibre, handmade in Nepal.
Nuno felt is a textile created by felting two thin layers of wool around a cotton gauze fabric. It is a soft, lightweight and insulating material.
Sheep’s wool felt is a natural, noble, and renewable material. Naturally insulating, it absorbs sound and insulates against both cold and heat.
Nettle fibre is a natural material that is both flexible and durable.
Our NOREN panel is designed to be hung using a wooden or bamboo rod, which slides easily into the sleeve located at the top.
